Not happy with the background..........

First up I sewed this back ground on - see:



Too stark,,,,,,,,,,,,,,crisis


Now I have sewed this back ground on better but not 100% happy - it will have to do though:

Hopefully once Desley has woven her magic it will look better.................

    Giant dahlia was the second quilt I made in 1992 and I believe my mother inlaw still has it

      Hi Christine, It is a classic design isn't it. I bet your mother in law loves her quilt. I have now made 2 using this design as gifts and I would really like to make one for myself - maybe one day when I have finished all my other UFO's
